Municipal Installation and Operation offers installation of new meters where the following work is performed:

• Replacing of old meter with new

• Drilling lids and installing external antennas

• Recording of vital information into an excel spread sheet where most software companies can dump information into billing program

• Providing a written description of location as well as GPS Coordinates

Municipal Installation and Operation offers calibration of large meters.  Large meters, typically means large water consumption.  If your meters are not being calibrated, it can also mean large loss of revenue.  It is recommended by the Commerce Commission that all large meters, 2" and bigger, should be calibrated or replaced every 2 years. 

Municipal Installation and Operation offers Valve Operating and Maintenance where the following work is performed:

• Operating of Valves by exercising the valve using a Wachs Valve Trailer

  • By using the Wachs Valve Trailer we are actually exercising the valve by cleaning the threads, making the valve easier to operate in the future​​

• Sucking out of dirt and rock build up inside of valve box using Wachs Travel Vac

• Recording of vital information

  • GPS Coordinates​

  • Number of turns

  • lbs of torque required to operate valve

• Rising and lowering of valve box to set at ground level​

• Testing/Recording of the following important information:​

  • ​Static Pressure

  • Residual Pressure

  • Pitot Pressure

  • GPM Flow​​​​

• Topping off of oil reservoir

• Sand blasting and re-painting of  decayed hydrants
